English sandwiches

A sandwich is a food item, typically consisting of two (or more) slices of bread with one or more fillings between them. They are a popular type of lunch food, typically taken to work or school or picnics. Normally it has got butter, ham, cheese, lettuce

Bread has been eaten with any meat or vegetables since Neolithic times, but the immediate cultural precursor with a direct connection to the English sandwich was to be found in the Netherlands of the 17th century, where the naturalist John Ray observed that in the taverns beef hung from the rafters "which they cut into thin slices and eat with bread and butter laying the slices upon the butter".

In Spain, they are called "Sándiches" or "Paredados"; in Venezuela, Ecuador or Colombia are called "sánduche"; etc.

Where were Hot Dogs born?

I´m gonna talk about the Hot Dog, it hasn´t only one inventor. Most  people think that Hot Dogs are from the U.S.A, but they are wrong, this food is from Europe.
Many years ago people from Euope had to migrate to the U.S.A
Charles Feltman was a german butcher, he decided to sell Hot Dogs in  Coney Island, but he didn´t make it famous. The man who made it famous was Nathan Handwerker, he was one of Charles Feltman´s employeeS. Nathan Handwerker sold more cheaply and he became famous.
Now if you g oto the U.S.A you can buy a Hot Dog everywhere, but remember, Hot Dogs are from Europe.

This is a picTure of Nathan Handwerker´s store:
